Pilates is a fantastic type of exercise that can make a big difference to many peoples lives. Physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and orthopaedic surgeons all recommend core conditioning exercises such as pilates to help prevent or improve a range of problems.

I have been teaching Pilates since 2004 with tremendous results. I have found that posture can improve very quickly and that the large majority of back conditions improve greatly or even clear up. I stay up to date with the latest training and research through magazines such as Fitness professionals and Sport Injury Bulletin and by attending regular training courses (most recently with The Austalian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute).

My clients (individual and class based) have benefited greatly from pilates. Problems such as low back pain, neck pain, restricted shoulder movement and breathing difficulties have all been improved or even eliminated completely. It gives me great pleasure to see the benefits that pilates has given to so many people.

I work closely with the Chartered Physiotherapists at The Eastcliff Therapy Centre in Bournemouth and at The New Forest Physiotherapy Cininc in New Milton. This gives me the ability to have new clients professionally assessd if necessary and also allows the physiotherapists to refer their patients for continued rehabilitation if they think that it's needed.
